Sarala has expansive knowledge and experience across a wide gamut of functions including Talent Planning & Strategy, Quality & Business Excellence, Competency Development, Product Development and Learning & Development. She has held executive positions in the areas of training, competency development, product development, assessment, verification and quality evaluation of teaching and learning.

Sarala has been instrumental in the development of significant quality initiatives including the FAA Quality Framework (FQF), Finance Qualifications Structure (FQS), FAA Recognition of Learning (FRL), FAA Learning Criteria (FLC), FAA Learning Standards (FLS), Certified Training Professional (CTP) programme, the Islamic Finance Professional Qualifications Standards (IFPQS) and e-Learning Guidelines.

Sarala has an MSc in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from University of Newcastle, Australia.
Dr. Jessica Tang

Dr. Jessica Tang is a leader, coach and an expert in Talent Development who nurture and build others. She holds a doctorate in Educational Management, Planning and Policy, an MBA, a Master of Science (Statistics) and Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) from University Malaya.
Currently, Dr. Jessica is the Head, Talent Development in Top Glove, the largest gloves manufacturing company in the world. She has 30 years of professional experience in the industry and academia. Prior to Top Glove, she has worked with two other multinational manufacturing companies and a private university, mainly focused in the areas of quality improvement and learning & development.
Her work has evolved from being a passionate contributor to an effective leader, shifting the paradigm for the development profession in ensuring talent success. Dr Jessica Tang is a people developer who has always been in touch with the people she developed and coached, and creates valuable experiences for them. Noted for her personal and professional efforts to develop others, her work has been recognized through various awards at the national and international levels. She has been invited to speak at international conferences, and published research papers in reputable academic journals.


Shazmi Ali
Country HR VP, Shell Malaysia Berhad

Shazmi Ali is currently the Country HR VP for Shell Malaysia and is based in Kuala Lumpur. He joined Shell in November 2018. He is responsible for overall HR in Malaysia – which has 4500 employees across Upstream, Downstream and Shell Business Operations.
With almost 2 decades of both business & HR experience, Shazmi is a seasoned & broad experienced Human Resources Leader in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Shell, Shazmi was the Cluster Lead -South East
Asia for Pfizer based in Singapore.

Beyond work, Shazmi is an active speaker and leader of the Malaysia HR Leaders Community. Shazmi represented Malaysia at the Touch Rugby World Cup 2019. Shazmi is also an Adjunct Professor at UTM and UUM.
Shazmi is blessed with three kids.
Natalia Navin
Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), Maxis

Natalia is the CHRO in Maxis and she is responsible for Maxis’ people agenda. She has played several integral HR leadership roles, including as Country HR Leader, Regional HR Leader and Global HR Business Partner where she led several HR transformation programs relating to global merger and divestiture deals. She also led successful labour relations negotiations across Asia Pacific and developed HR programs including talent and employee relations program.
Prior to joining Maxis, Natalia was the Asia Pacific HR Leader for Micro Focus, a UK-based technology company. She has worked with Zaid Ibrahim & Co (ZICO Law), United Nations, CIMB and Hewlett Packard (HP).
Natalia graduated from Staffordshire University in the UK with a Law Degree (LLB) and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor in Malaysia in 2004.
